I am a programmer by trade (20 Years+) and have developed software solutions for dozens of different industries. However I have and will contract out to do a variety of tasks (Electronic Design, Hypnosis (and Training), Audio Recording, Guitar Lessons, Private Tutoring, and a few more that elude me at the moment). My fees are based on my skill level and experience in the field of interest . I am not trying to get business from this site (this is my personal site) and am usually pretty booked up but feel free to ask. The worst that can happen is, I say no:).
Because I'm damn good, that's why. Also very easy to work with:) I will typically review the situation very carefully, determine if I can provide a solution. Then If I feel that I'm the guy for the job, I will submit my requirements, if not I will try to recommend another qualified contractor or just decline. Pretty simple.

Probably NOT, but you can always ask:) I have traded services on occasion. If you have a noble cause (e.g. Helping Children, Animals or other Under dogs) maybe. I have a real soft spot for the helpless.
A lot:) How much do you have? Just Kidding. It depends on what you need. If you need a senior software engineer then $75.00+ and hour (I work from my office). However It depends on how fun or how not fun the project is. I do a lot of research and development on my own nickel, so I must charge enough to keep on the bleeding edge.
Only for a lot of money, I hate flying? Also I am kind of a recluse. I haven't left the house much during the last ten years (yea I know that's weird, I have my reasons)

I do most of my work during the afternoons and evenings (usually noon to 3 am Arizona Time). Again if you have special circumstances and deep pockets I am flexible.
Will You Fix my PC Just because your my friend?
Not likely, I depends what you will do for me:) I get inundated with request for that and sometimes it can be a lot of work. But like everything else, you can always ask. Make me an offer I can't refuse. I have 8 or 9 PC's here I have to maintain, that's enough PC fixing for me.
