Model Shots
Photographing models is very exciting, especialy if the model is good with expression.
Whether in the studio or on location, so much can be can be captured with human expression.
All people have the magic of expression, I kind of view it as my job to coax it out of people.
Looking through the lens gives me an advantage of viewpoint and experience tells me when to snap the shutter.
I shoot models for free and give them a complete set of the photos to add to thier protfolio. Why? Because I love taking pictures and trying to get that magic shot, the shot that you just look at and say WOW thats awesome. Getting that one shot makes the hours of work worth it, and its forever, that magic moment is frozen in time.
I do submit (with the models permission only) the very good photos to Advertising Agencies, Photo Distributors, and Photo Catalogs. If a photo is purchased for use in the comercial market, I split the income with the model. There is always the chance that a big magazine may pic a photo up and it winds up in Cosmo or where ever.
